Be Creative
Need ideas to get the creative juices flowing? Sometimes it helps to just sit back and daydream,
or go about your everyday business, when all of a sudden....that's it! An idea! It can occur at any
time, any place. Just make sure that you make note of it somewhere so that you can refer back to it.

Generating ideas can be done by training your mind. Sometimes an old idea can be transformed into
something new.
Concentrate on what it is you want, then when you're efforts are exhausted, forget about it!
That's right, just push it out of your mind. Relax! Chances are you'll be inspired seemingly out of
nowhere and an idea will pop into your head. After awhile it'll happen more and more.
I found a fantastic website devoted to creativity. I highly recommend you go there and read what
Charles Cave has to say on the subject. Go to Creativity Web,
and see if he doesn't get your mind cranking.
What exactly is the definition of
creativity?

I used posters of old “Broadway Shows” as my theme.
How I Grouped and Arranged my Broadway Posters
First, measure the width of the wall, then decide on how much space you want between each poster. Take
the width of the posters plus the amount of space between each poster — subtract that
number from the width of the wall and divided by 2. This will be the amount of space on each end of the wall
where you would begin and end each poster.

There is a large wide beam in the ceiling (see photo below), and I needed to allow extra space between the
posters so that I could hang a clock instead of a poster in that space.
Posters that were hidden by the light fixture in the picture below.

A small wall area at the end of the room. Just enough room for the remaining two posters.

In case you were curious, here's that little billiard clock, below, that goes in the space under the
beam in the 2nd picture above.
